Wahabiism

Wahhabi – a member of a strictly conservative Muslim sect founded in the 18th century with the aim of eliminating all innovations later than the 3rd century of Islam. Wahabiism appeared at Nedjda under slogans about purity of Islam, returning it to the primary from that Mohamed described. Wahabiism was also resulted by Arabian unification against Ottoman caliphate. Wahabiist propagated that form of Islam that was accepted by Istanbul, as the matter of fact Wahabi pronounced any form of Muslimism irregular except that form they followed. Frankly speaking the main goal of Wahhabis were usurpation of power but not the pureness of Islam, as they accepted help from Americans that get a lot of profits of this war.

Unlike the other Islam followers Wahabis have a lot of restrictions about their appearance and behaviour, for example nowadays Islam women are allowed to wear cloth just like the European women wear, but women of Wahabiism must cover their heads with kerchief and wear skirts that cover their legs to toes, they actually not allowed to wear any cloth that uncovers their bodies. Men that profess Wahabiism must wear beard and perform the sacred duty described at Koran. In fact religion for Wahabiism followers is just a mean of reaching the final aim – power, but not the sense of their lives. As an argument we may describe several facts that characterise Wahabis activity. The Muslim state that was intensively developed at that time was undesirable for European countries, as it's widely known that the stronger faith of nation the stronger nation is, and the Muslim religion gave birth for rather unite nation, unlike the European religions. Armed with a strong faith Muslims were able to do thing impossible for other nations, so it was important for some European countries to split this nation from the inside as it was impossible to do from the outside.

For this purpose European youth were sent to Muslim countries for studying at the best universities and became famous students of Muslim religion. And that is how the destruction of Muslim sacred places and values were performed disguised behind ideas of purity of Islam.
